Instruction
Before scanning, we need to carefully check the condition in the mouth. Some tartar on the occlusal and adjacent teeth must be cleaned before scanning.
Check the bite condition
When scanning the bite, the patient is required to have a normal and stable bite, and the scanning head is placed sideways to scan. During scanning, the upper and lower jaw will automatically align. After alignment is completed, check whether the bite is normal.
The dental arch is intact without deformation
Implant mold scanning volume
The scanning body for implant mold removal is the most crucial. Firstly, the scanning body must be fully seated, and secondly, the scanning body must be fully photographed. However, if the scanning rod is not fully photographed, the scanning rod may deform after post-processing, or there may be significant data errors or even data loss, making it difficult to accurately replace the substitute body, ultimately leading to the inability of the implant restoration body to be accurately seated in the mouth.
For certified scanning volume scenarios, examine using the gypsum model. The scanning volume's surface is flawless and extremely smooth. If we can achieve this in every scanning volume at the front end, the accuracy of the oral scanning data would be considerably improved!
